Yoga - Gary's 200 hour teacher training
Trained as a Firefighter Paramedic EMT. I have a 2 bachelor's degrees much of which concentrated on medical knowledge and anatomy.
Trained in Hyperbarics for treatment of medical ailments and emergent cases. Including but not limited to assisting inside the chamber and running the chamber pressures.
Scuba diver for over 25 years with many specialties
Been know as a "Jill-of-all-trades" because I am not afraid to build or remodel anything
How long have you been practicing yoga?
That was in 1995, but it wasn't until 2007 that I became a regular practitioner. Post many triathlons, century bike rides, and running events, my body felt depleted and injured but I still needed something to maintain and push my Type A personality.
Describe your class/teaching style in three words.
Intense Cathartic and Biomechanical
What is your goal for the class? How do you want your students to feel when they walk out of the room?
To feel pushed but end with a clarity of the mind.
