I never thought I would ever take a teacher training course! I was a regular student of The Ashram for a couple years and it was clear I couldn’t get enough. I’ve always had a meditation/spiritual practice and this course fit perfectly into everything I believe in. I would NEVER take it anywhere else. It was a challenging disciplinary practice, informative with regard to the history of yoga and anatomy, centered in meditation and yoga practices, and filled with wonderful connections with those of our group. Gary and Claudia’s commitment to excellence shows every day I attended training. It changed my life for the better in so many ways and I’m honored to be teaching at The Ashram.

Teacher Training at The Ashram was definitely a life changing experience for me. At age 62, I figured I better do it now because it would never get any easier. That turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made. This course taught me that I am much stronger both physically and mentally than I ever gave myself credit for.
The course was so powerful to me that I took it again. Now, my dream has come true and I am a yin yoga teacher with hopes to continue learning about offering yoga to many ages and body types.

I loved the teacher training! It was hard but pushed me in a way that I needed. I had very little knowledge of what yoga was really all about before I started. Now, I have a greater understanding of the many aspects of yoga and definitely a greater appreciation. Yoga is a constant journey as life is. The training will broaden your perspective, humble your ego, build all levels of strength, and encourage your ability to be open and present.

Know thyself… Ultimately that is what you will come away with… a deeper knowledge of yourself! This training offers endless opportunities that will touch your limits of body and mind and maybe just maybe you will transcend some of them! So if you are interested in evolution advance at your own risk

At 19 years old I decided I wasn’t going to live a life of mundane, dead-end jobs. I knew what my heart and soul wanted: YOGA. The first time I stepped into the Ashram, I signed up for teacher training and while it is not recommended to do that, I did. I had no idea what I was getting into. 10 intensive weekends that completely changed my life for the better. I am so grateful to have had this life changing experience at such a young age, and now at 20, I am teaching yin two to three times a week at the Ashram. There is no greater feeling than working that hard and being able to teach and see my dreams come true.

I encourage anyone who is seeking a change in attitude, outlook on life and a better understand of yoga to participate in the upcoming yoga teacher training this September. There truly hasn’t been a day in my life that I wish I didn’t invest my time or money in this training. Gary and Claudia will not disappoint. You will be ready to teach when you are finished, so be ready.
