After Wendy Knapinski took her first yoga class in 2011, she was hooked on the way she felt—more grounded, happier, stronger and much healthier. Wendy knew right away that she wanted to share her experience with as many people as possible and enrolled in the Ashram’s first year of teacher training in 2012.

Though Wendy taught at other studios in the past, she now teaches exclusively at the Ashram, a community she describes as supportive, intuitive, and genuine. She encourages students to try her class to experience the consistency of Ashram yoga and smooth flow, and ensures her classes are appropriately challenging for all levels. Wendy’s teaching style can best be summed up in three words: “from the heart!”

Outside of the Ashram, Wendy works part-time as a dental assistant. In her free time, she loves outdoor sports, hiking and camping, with her husband and their three children. In terms of Wendy’s passions, yoga is second only to spending time with her family—if they come with her to yoga, it’s a huge bonus!
